Position Description
Reporting to the Senior Manager, the Clinical Supply Chain Associate supports drug supply management and logistics for clinical trials as well as non-clinical purposes. This position will work closely with Jennerex' Clinical Supply Management (CSM) vendor to ensure that adequate drug supply is ready for distribution to on-going clinical trials and drug shipments are delivered to clinical sites in a timely and compliant manner.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Tracks both clinical and non-clinical product material supply including inventory review and reconciliation
- Coordinates clinical and non-clinical drug shipments from the CSM to clinical sites and contract testing laboratories
- Ensures shipment deliveries are on time and expeditiously resolves issues related to shipping
- Reviews shipment records for compliance and maintains document archives of domestic and international shipments
- Coordinates drug labeling and packaging runs with the CSM
- Tracks and replenishes ancillary supplies as necessary
- Establishes and/or revises SOPs to improve departmental systems
Qualifications & Specialized Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline with at least 2-5 years of relevant Pharmaceutical/Biotech experience
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and transactions
- Excellent organizational, time management and recordkeeping skills
- Effective oral/written communication skills and computer skills are required
- Working knowledge of GMP, FDA/ICH guidelines and industry best practices
- Ability to operate independently and in cross functional teams
